How long is indefinite?

When I put players on my shortlist "indefinetly" it always then removes it but I thought indefinite was all the time until you decide to remove it
Is this not right?

I think its been doing 1 year, but I haven't paid attention to it - in fact, I stopped using "Indefinite" when I figured out that it wasn't what it said on the tin.

But if I chose indefinatly they should still be there. Or do I have to select keep on shortlist indefinatly as it should be? Most confused.

Indefinite means for the forseeable future - they will never get removed from your shortlist unless you remove them or they disappear from the database.

1 year is...

Player > Right Click > Add to Short list > 1 year.
