It's not a question anymore of just the user cheating the PC, but I discovered that it's the other way round as well.

I started as unemployed and was offered a job at a club in Germany's Third Division. First year we were promoted but the year after we were relegated and I was sacked.

Then I went to Second Division in Turkey. The LONG TERM AMBITION for the club was to establish itself in Second Division (top table finishings) in the coming 2 years. In the first year the team was promoted to First Division and immediately I was offered a 1 year contract extension. Under my reign finances of the club have become extremely healthy (+3 million from -1).

Having been promoted after just the first year, when I accessed the Confidence section, the LONG TERM AMBITIONS bar was at it's full level, obviously because I was promoted in First Division.

The problem comes now. I finished 6th in First Division, but at the start of the next season, the progress bar of the LONG TERM AMBITION in the Confidence section went down to zero. How is it possible? The targets of the club were still to be in Division Two but the team was in Division One.

At the end of the season I ended up not having my contract renewed simply because I wasn't achieving the LONG TERM AMBITIONS of the club, which is not true!!!

I built a very strong team and the club finances were very healthy, but the game still found the way to screw me up.

I think this is a terrible bug, and if it so, then I'll soon put it on the shelf, because this way it's not a joy to play. It's useless building a team year after year, if the game doesn't let you do so.

In the first instance, it isn't uncommon for a manager who has gotten his team promoted in a previous season to get the sack when the teaam is subsequently relegated.

In the second instance, it does sound odd, and I would suggest that you post it in the bugs forum just in case, but please, let's not attribute it to a case of the evil AI. Even if there was a programming error, I'm sure it wasn't done on purpose.

Board Confidence issues are pretty known for a while know. It should be fixed with the 8.01 patch though. If you have that patch running already, i'd say get your behind over to the bugs forum ASAP.

I assume you play with the 8.0.1 patch?
This was a bug that i thought was fixed with the patch.
Like previous posters said i think the bug forum is the best place to mention it.

Just to re-iterate. Have you installed the latest patch (8.0.1) and started a new game since you did?

This issued was fixed in that patch (as far as I know) so if this is simply caused by you not patching and starting a new game then you'll be wasting testers time in the bugs forum. Time that could be spent fixing other things

Well, I m playing with Milan and won the Serie A and Champions league last year with a really superb team,stars like Aguero,C.Ronaldo etc..and i see the long term expectation bar as yellow and board says i should slightly perform better!! Really have no clue.

No, as far as I know I'm playing with the original version.

How would I know which patch it is and how can I install the new one?
