I've recently noticed that Steven Gerrard has been performing extremely poorly of late, recieving countless 5's and 6's for his performance on the pitch, and there has been no indications as to why he is playing so badly recently. The team and tactics are exactly the same as they were last year and he is "Very happy playing for the club", so I presumed a kick up the arse is what he needs, but then there's no option to release a press statement informing the media I'm unhapy with his recent form on the player interaction screen...the only other option I can think of would be to strip him on his Captain duties, but again that's not something I want to do (yet).

Help would be appreciated. :thup:

Drop him for a couple of games if you can, you must have a good replacement midfielder if your Liverpool boss!

If your tactics haven't changed, it may well be that the AI has wised up to how you play him, and is stifling his game. Try altering how and where you play him, change something because you know what he can do for you when playing well.
