Default My player threw the game

I havee never seen this before. I'm currently in my third season, where I am currently on a poor run either my star players are either injured or will be injured.

But to my amazement, my striker who has fallen out with the youth player that he was tutoring became, put under pressure, by lack of goals, as it was effecting his confidence. I then moved him to the reserves team, then fined him two weeks wages when not turning up to training. Going AWOL is not permitted when I'm the boss.

Netherless, I tried my best to boost his moral and to be fair. But whenhe resquested to leave. Which I declined. Seemed to have really narked the striker.

But reading the reports on the reserve games, my reserves team lost 6-1, according to the match report he litterally threw the game.

Never seen that before, he was transfered for the lowest transfer fee possible basically I tried to sell him for a pound (Well his price was £40K I sold him for £1k). Not looking forward to the media comments in the future player X is in the next game, etc, etc.

Has any one esle seen this. Nice addition IMO, annoying but nice touch.

Do you mean the report literally said "(player x) threw the game"?
If so, that's great! Could you please take a screeny?

Btw, who was the player in question?

Would you mind telling us what part of the match report led you to believe that he threw the game.

Thanks.

OK folks here is the screen shot, as requested, its clear from the game feedback that the players heart wasn't in the game.

Aye I see what your saying turn it upto 11

However, it was getting more and more obvious by the player becoming even more unsettled, and more anxious, such as lack of goals, falling out with players. That he would no longer playing football for me.

But in one view he threw the game, the prior reserves game, he was man of the match the next game the one in the screeny his heart wasn't in it to play the game, not a team player. So in my view he threw the game.

A little annoying, as he's was one of the best strikers in the squad.

Didn't really throw the game. Sure he could ensure that he doesn't score but it's not easy for a striker to fix it so that his team concede six. He's just a man with a grudge who wants to leave. Farm him out.
