Default Has your keeper scored directly from kicking the ball from his penalty box?

Ustari my GK playing for my Newcastle team managed to score by kicking from his own penalty box - this was in a premiership game last season. First time I've seen in it playing FM/CM for 15 years.

A few games later he nearly repeated it, the ball hitting the top of the crossbar.

I was so stunned I saved the game as a replay - I'll post it tomorrow if anyones interested?

Anyone else experienced this? I nearly choked on my half-time oranges when it happened

Yes. It seems to be quite common.

(A little too common if you ask me) :thdn:.

Loboure scored in the World Cup for me against Italy right before half time to make it 1-0. Won the game 4-0 absolutely robbed the Italians...

Nope. tried to force goals upon him last season, Giving him FK's (Rating 6) and PK's (also 6), but he never scored once from an FK, and missed about 24 out of 28 Pens. This season, I've taken him off those duties, and he's some how managed 15 goals in 14 games

It not that rare; there's a whole challenge devoted to keepers scoring

Never happened to me though..

Happened to me once on FM08

I'm Wrexham in the Premiership and played Arsenal in the FA Cup Quarter final.

We were 1-0 up in the last minute and they won a corner. Their keeper came up and the ball went straight out for a goal kick. My keeper (who I signed from Arsenal) took it quickly and scored.
