Hi guys, im new to the forum but have had every CM/FM since Champ manager 2. Im really not havin a good time with the new one tho simply because it seems ridiculously difficult to win at home. winning away seems more realistic. anyone got any views or ideas on what im doing wrong?

I think you need to flesh this out a bit, who you're playing as, what kind of style you're using etc. There's a tactics forum as well, might get some ideas in there. This one is mainly for asking when the patch is coming out.

oh ok thanks. seems to be with every team i play as though. tried all kinds of tactics and team instructions. 4321, 4231, 4132. got a bit of success playing short passing and slow tempo with a deep defence and narrow but its still pretty inconsistent. any other variations and its just embarrasing, got beat at home by port vale in the league cup wen i was wigan. shocker

Suggestion: head over to the Tactics Forum and read some of the suggestions they have. Then, if you still feel lost, post about the problems you're having, with some details - what team you've got, how your players match up, how you're using them, what you basic tactical ideas are.
