Default 8.0.2> Save game compatibility
I've started recently a new game with the 8.0.1 patch...only to find 2 days later that 8.0.2 patch is out.

If i apply 8.0.2, will it update my old game or will i have to start a new game in order for all the updates to work?

Won't there occur any problems because of the january transfer window update? Or will the patch just fix the bugs in the saved game and proceed with the same players of 8.0.1?

If you use a patch on a save game all the changes take place except the database changes as in jan transfers. They only take place when a new game is started :thup:

How or when does the 7 subs in the EPL take place during a save game then?

It doesnt - they havent fixed that. Its in another thread somewhere along with an explanation

that's when starting a new game

the update is save game compatable, but to get all the new features, you need to start a new game. I assume the 7 subs is one of them

according to SI it kicks in the next season re the 7 subs.
