I'm playing Football Manager 2008 a few days, I'm Liverpool and about 8 games into my first season. So far I've gone 6, drawn 1 and lost 1.

While I'm happy with that in about 4 or 5 of the 6 I've won, I get a message saying it could have gone either way and the others might think they should have gotten something out of it etc. I'm just worried this means I'm getting lucky, and it's unsustainable, or is it just something that happens when the scores are close.

In the last game against Utd I won 2-0, I also had 9 shots on target, versus their 4 and had a goal disallowed and had 57% of the possession.

Any ideas how to kill them game off more, or is it just something that happens when score is close against 2 evenly enough matched teams

As long as your supporters are fine in the confidence section, I'd feel successful with your current tactics.

The second half of the season may find you struggling more if the AI adjusts like it normally does, but some tweaking hints found in the tactics forum should address these for you.
