Its football. Everyone has a price.
I don't think there's an example of anyone in recent history who has refused mega money to move to a **** club.

Explain half of Scotland and the entire Premier Division.

Im not saying Scotland league is obscure. But being a Key Player on the best team of a league that ppl watch(maybe not on england or italy, but the managers would be surely watching) can only be good for him. Way better than stay on the reservers team of a second division italy team. IMO
there's nothing wrong witha plyaer holding out for other offers from european teams.
i personally wouldn't want to move to brazil to play football unless i was getting to the end of my career
it's like all the players going to japan at the end of their careers back in the 90's. dont know the state of their league now but it used to be the case

I agree with you postal. Of course in the evolution scale of football, england, spain and italy are the top ones. But since the guy is not wanted there, cant get his chances and such and will be getting a HUGE raise on salary, plus sign bonus and goal bonus, and a KEY role on a team on a league that european managers do watch(or they wouldnt buy all their good players aight?) would be so bad? Someone said that doesnt see italians playing on Brazil. But of course! usually the good ones have a salary that no one can cover there, and the ones that can be bought arent as good as the players there. This guy I found is an exception, he is good but his manager doesnt think he deserve a first team place. He is on the reserves of his italian second division team. No one is interested on him. He just rejects a contract offer that is great IMO without reason. And the guy is 23!! Now tell me. If you were roting on the bench of a second division team in europe getting your $8k month and suddenly someone tells you that you can be a star of a team(that won the world cup against barca aight?) getting $53k monthly, 2k goal bonus(he had 100) and a sign bonus of 300k. Cant understand why someone would refuse that. The only reason could be because of family or lenguage, and I would be pleased if he told me that. But thats not the case. Oh, and before someone tells thats the reputation of the team, As I said his team was national, mine is continental with top training facilities
