Beckham Retiring

David Beckham has just retired on my game, after a "glittering career".

Now i expected him to disappear from the game like most of them, however i have seen some thing that i havent seen before on FM.

hes become a chairman! now i dont know about you lot, i have never seen that before.

yeah on my game Riccardo Scimeca took over Aston Villa! random or what? lol anyone else find this? he only played for us for a couple of years and wasnt reli a brill player lol

I had something just before the patch where one of my former players retired at age 20, but in the news item it had him listed as a 42 year old chairman! I didn't see it in the changelist for the patch, so i assume it was missed (hey, i didn't even notice it until 4 days ago!).

Why is there a Crystal Palace news item in your Inbox? Scouted Zarate, i assume?

Surprising, on my game he "was definitely not going to remain in the game after retiring".

Maybe being chairman doesn't count as being "in" the game?

i remember in 07, materazzi retired and became a manager, the first team he managed?

You guessed it! Ross county. mid tablers in the scottish second division.
