Rep Power: 10 Supporting: Chelsea Footballers: Gianfranco Zola, John Terry | Are we in danger of failing to qualify Having seen the results from Englands group, I, for one, are seriously concerned about us being able to qualify.
We are not a good international side, not just because of poor senior and team management, our players do not seem to have the hunger and passion we see from other sides.
Mis guided fools believe we did OK against Brazil, which 1-1 says yes we did. Sorry guys, we need to take a reality check.
Too many players pull on the shirt without real hunger and passion in their bellies.
The fee they get for playing for England is very samll in comparison to what they earn a week.
It used to be the pinnacle of a players career to pull on the three lions and the fee they received was far greater than their weekly wage, but now its in a reverse situation, with them worrying about being fit for the next Champions League fixture or disobeying their manager.
Its amazing the number of injury drop outs you get now...
As a nation we need to drop our expectations and start letting these overpaid, spoilt, dont give a damn ,players some real stick.
If we dont then sack them all! :p |
