Default Stats Galore - First Season with 802

Here's the wrap up of the first season, that has my side, AC Milan, triumph (with a lot of luck) everywhere.

I play with patch 8.0.2., no data changes, only player bought is Barzagli.

In the 5 competitions I've entered and won (Serie A, Euro Super Cup, Champions League, Italian Cup, World Championships for clubs, I've played a total of 61 games.

Won: 41 Tied: 15 Lost:5

Goals for: 102 Goals Against: 30
Average results: 1,7-0,5

Average n. shots on for: 6,2
Average n. shots on against: 2,4
Goals/shot ratio for: 27%
Goal/shot ratio against: 21%

Now that we are done with the stats, a few overall comments.

First of all I love the game, but I am hardly a fanboy, as my pre-patch posts showed...but...with this patch they've really nailed.

There is no such thing as too many goals...on average in my game there were 2.2 goals, which is actually slightly below a "real" AC Milan season.
Also, I haven't seen any crazy result: out of 61 games, only 5 times there were more than 5 goals per game, and only once I've seen 6 goals (Again, per game, not per team).

Defenders score too much: well, maybe...overall I've scored 14 goals with defenders, 23% of the total is somehow higher than usual.

Too many goals from corners: Not true. 11 of 61, hardly difficult!

You can't score from direct kicks: Not true.I've scored 5, which is pretty decent imho.

I haven't noticed any particular idiotic behaviour from defenders, except for giving away corners a tad too lightheartedly.

What is still wrong:
- the post match commentary is laughable, the key player is usually someone who had a semi decent game and was substituted in the second half.
- the market: selling players is way too hard. Buying them too.
- the rumours about players you might be interested into buying, one per week.. that's too many, I've resorted to not use the shortlist anymore

After three years they finally sorted out Maldini's morale, so I'm happy.
I can only wish AC Milan was half as good as "my" AC Milan to be really happy!

Cheers

The "key watch" player for each team is chosen on the start of the game, and then their performance is commented upon on the end, as you can see in the pre match commentary

as I understood so far; these two are attached to each other meaning defenders score too much just because of corners. And to be able observe this happening you need some stats to be reasonably high and make some tactical changes. Details can be read in some other topics. So as default you may not notice it but many could under some circumstances.

But in the end; it is good to hear some positive comments about the game here. After all it is still the top manager game around in many aspects. Some touches here and there and people will be even happier

That's exactly why I question the "key watch" player choice in the first place :-)

Yeah, I'm still unsure about this. Would be good to see other people's experiences, based on, err.. more than a couple of games :-)
