Default Price of FM08

was just wondering how cheap you have seen it for.
At the Hereford United football groud it is now only £9.99 which is the cheapest in Herefordshire.

I wanna know what the RRP for it is because surely they must be losing money by selling it so cheap!

How much have you guys seen it for?

My friends got FM07 for 10£ from play.com last year in the same time so I guess it is reasonable considering we are already half way through the season and some may already start waiting for FM09.

and ask for the profit; 10£ can still make profit. In the end, once the software is ready getting a single box into shelf does not cost anything more than couple of pounds. So for SI and the retailer anything basically over 5£ can make some profit and eventually when game is not hot in the market anymore, what ever they still get from is good extra income.

I've heard that the local club down the road from near me Morecambe sell the game cheap on launch that's long since passed.

The games shops in town are always much more expensive than online. Who seem to be cheaper, give it a short while, then the game shops will do a deal its a damn lottery some times.

I think Si provide smaller clubs with copies for cheap to enable those clubs to make some profit.

They do. The 2006 version was half price from the club office at Lancaster City.
