I have enjoyed every CM and every FM (inc patches)up until now. I have recently installed 8.02 and started 2 new games. I play mostly as Man utd and have always been rather succesful. During my last 2 games i have done exactly what i always do etc Staff, tactics, transfers and expectations inc teamtalks.


I GET SNOTTED EVERY GAME !!

Van Der Sar/Kuszczak
Neville/O'shea
Evra/Silvestre
fedinand/Pique
vidic/Evans
Hargreaves/Carrick
ronaldo/Nani
Giggs/Mat.Fernandez
Scholes/anderson
Rooney/Tevez
Fred/Saha

Formation: Flat back four, 1 defensive mid, midfielder right and left with attacking intentions, 2 Attacking mid centre and striker.

Its done me proud for years!!

What would YOU do ???????

Try the good player forum and the tactics forum. You'll get more help there. Especially the tactics forum as with Man U you'll start with good players anyway.

Thanks Cliff but i think the problem goes deeper than that , i have good players and this tactic is proven( for me that is ) I can just tell something is not right

I thought about putting this in the tactics forum but i don't really think that is whats wrong.

Its got to be something you are doing. Man Utd are such an easy team to get joy with.

There is, effectively, a new match engine.

You will inevitably need new tactics

8.01 was fine . playing good football and positioned well or winning most competitions.

So how come now its so different after 8.02?

I'm talkin about 6-0 charity sheild defeats by chelsea followed by 4-0 man city and 2-0 reading (at home). Only 4 shots on target for all 3 games.

i have been playing since cm97 and have never come across this !!!

well i don't know what i can do apart from being ultra defensive so i'll resort back to 8.01 and edit transfers myself until Fm09
