Save game will not load!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey every one, would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me why, when i go to load my game it says "save game could not be loaded" and if there is any way of getting it back up and running? ta

I know this sounds daft, but when you click "load game" is the game file still there? if like me you always click "load last game", it won't load unless the file is in the "load game" folder.

yeh the file is there alright, it happens if i load it manually through selecting which one i want to load. all my other files work fine but i only had one file of this particular game where i had spent about 5 hours on it without playing a game. lol yes call me sad

I've had this before, but on fm07... it was a particularly successful inter game, one of the longest I've ever played... and then that happened. I spent days searching for a cure, travelled to the furthest lands, climbed the highest mountain, in hope of finding something to fix my beautiful, beautiful game... Alas, despite finding something promising by trawling though the bugs forum, nothing worked. I never even got to say goodbye.

Im really F**CKED off with it as i spent 2 seasons at leicester winning the championship in the first season, losing 2 games as well as reaching the fa cup final beating reading 5-1 on the way and then attained a 9 th place finish in the premiership. I then took the reins at liverpool about 7 games through season 3 and spent ages sorting things out as they were 17th and got them to the league cup final and got upto 4th in the league and spent money and hours of my time scouting for youngsters and staff whilst building a ong shortlist. Then when i come to go on it again "save game cannot be loaded" i couldnt beleive it and iv had the game since release date! and some ppl are in 2022

Sounds like either your hard drive is corrupted somewhere or you're perhaps trying to revert to a previous patch with game saved on a later patch.

That is correct. The same happened to me recently as I was trying to play a game on a different PC, which had no updated patch loaded. I just updated the patch and it worked fine.
