Weirdly enough in one of my 8.0.1 games (Sheff Utd) I kept getting messages that Mido (who'd never played for the team) was about to face his former club! Bleeding annoying!
1) i feel it should only happen once (the first game back at the club)
2) only if the player was bought or was on a long term loan deal
3) only if this player played a required percentage
I started on eof those timetravel games (2012), and every game I played as Arsenal, I got a message beforehand saying every single member of the opposing squad had played for me before

Agreed, unless with point one the player was a legend at the club when you were in charge i.e. if Beckham was to play against Man Utd im sure fergie would get asked about him every game.
