how do you get the most out of jimmy briand?

can anyone help me as i signed him and couldnt get him to perform and think my tactics dont suit him,will adjust them top accomodate him but some advice would be well, what sort things suit him. i.e play as a taget man. through balls played to him, crosses into him etc

well he scored 30 odd for me i used him as a target man and the target man supply was run onto ball

Its fine to post here. What version you using 8.00? 8.01? 8.02?

Anyhow try using:

FR - Often
RWB - Often
LS - Mixed/Rarely
TB - Rarely
CB - Rarely

Short passing or set to team setting of passing. You will have to work out how much you want him to close down. Creative freedom on the half way point should be fine or just leave it as the team setting aswell.

Or, you can play a big guy next to him, (good header of the ball), and use him as the target man, setting target man supply as "to head". That has worked for me aswell.
