i have struggled to get a ok tactic for spurs, and i thought this was just another one to give me some input to try to create my own, but it did actually work very well for me, and i experience even better results when i drag the midfield to a diamond.
I get a little bit more attacks on me, but score alot more goals.
Ive only tried this for 2 games (cos its 3am and im at work at 6:30 lol) so far not bad. i lost to Liverpool 2-1 in the first game and beat Wigan 3-0 in the second, im Newcastle by the way. the biggest problem i have is owen has played 180 mins and only had 2 shots with none on target! Taylor on the other hand WOW 2 games 3 goals and all from corners.
Yeah I'm particularly please with how effective set-pieces are in my system. Maybe you all haven't had time but Indirect Freekicks end up the net a fair amount too.
As for the lower league situation it does work, but very important to have right players as any weak links can destroy the team. Very difficult I know.
NB/Christopher Samba is a steal with a new game for this tactic!
