It's weird that Arsenal, Utd & Chelsea were in pursuit of Tevez & Masch. When they held talks all 3 teams lost interest, now that is weird

I bet West Ham paid fuck all and Chelsea will sign them at the end of a next season, since at the moment there's no place for them in the team with Makalele and the likes.

Anyway...was there any tv coverage of the Carling festival last weekend? 'Cos on Sunday if anyone saw a cocky chap in pink bunny slippers then that'd be me Kind of a long story but I lost a shoe Sat night when I was pretty wasted so I had to wear my mate Katie's PJ slippers haha

Though you can get away with anything at festivals and I reckon I pulled them off anyway :p lol

These are the artists I saw...

Friday:
Mumm-ra
The Long Blondes
Get Cape Wear Cape Fly...Jack
Little Man Tate
The Sunshine Underground
Bromhead Jackets
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Dizzee Rascal...fix up look sharp, awesome
First half of Primal Scream
Second Half of Franz Ferdinand

Saturday:
The Maccabees
Plan B...the version of Mama was
Milburn
Be Your Own Pet...I love Jemima's new hair, bags of energy on her
A bit of The Automatic
Dirty Pretty Things
Tiny bit of The Spinto Band
The Like
The Streets
Arctic Monkeys...From The Ritz To The Rubble, my fave
Most of The Fratellis...I hope you're jealous Hoidy :p
Muse...first two songs and Plug In Baby were good, rest was shit - sorry plp

Sunday:
The On-Offs
Switches
Humanzi
Hope Of The States
Goldie Lookin Chain
End of The Research
Lethal Bizzle & Statik...enjoyed their set loads, got the crowd involved
Klaxons
First half of Larrikin Love...absolutely gutted they were on the same time as The Kooks but they were awesome, love the menatlity of having a laugh
Second half of The Kooks
The Rakes
2 Many DJs...capped the weekend off perfectly

Was absolutely shattered at the end.

Little Man Tate were amazing, I heard that security or safety had to start taking people out of the tent as it was so packed and House Party At Boothey's went down a treat.

You do realize that if there was someone better on at the time, I would have gave Get Cape a miss Though fair play to the lad, he's got some talent. I loved the baaa bap ba baba ba's though

I also met Carlos and Gary

The England game was class, i loved every minute of it.
I had the perfect seat and a perfect view of all the goals
The fans and the atmosphere were incredible
Aaron Lennon came on with about 25 mins to go and made a HUGE impact, every time he got the ball everybody rose from thier seats

RIP

Quote:
"He came on top of the stingray and the stingray's barb went up and into his chest and put a hole into his heart," said Stainton, who was on board Irwin's boat at the time.
Such a horrific death.

i'll never forget the word 'crikey'

I honestly will miss that guy, a breath of fresh air to wildlife programmes. RIP Steve Irwin.
