AC Milan face tough competition from city rivals Inter for Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho.

Rossoneri president Silvio Berlusconi has declared in the last 24 hours that Ronaldinho "only wants Milan", however negotiations with Barca over a fee for the Brazilian are still to kickoff.

Italian sources today state that Inter sports chief Marco Branca has held talks over the phone with Roberto de Assis, Ronie's brother and agent, while Barca president Joan Laporta has assured Inter counterpart Massimo Moratti he will have first refusal on the attacking ace.
