Default Owen WILL stay at toon

I'm sure there are many doubters out there who would love to see Owen leave Newcastle and probably those who just think he will.

Well in my opinion, Owen won't leave Newcastle at the end of his current contract. He's an honest player who - at the minute - is enjoying his football and appreciates the amount of support our trophyless club has.

Keegan is also confident he will stay so it's looking very good.

What do you guys think?

Magpies boss Kevin Keegan is keen to sort out the player's future and Owen has hinted he is prepared to sign a new deal to extend his stay on Tyneside.

With Newcastle securing their Premier League safety after an upturn in results, Mort says the club are ready to sit down and discuss Owen's long-term future

"As we have said all along, we are obviously keen for Michael to stay," Mort told the Evening Chronicle.

"He's a fabulous player and he showed that again.

"Now we are looking forward to sitting down with his team and working out an agreement for him to stay at Newcastle United."
Looking very promising. Owen has said he is looking forward to sitting down at the end of the season and discussing a new deal. I knew he'd stay

ya I think he will surely stay.Newcastle will not sell him at any cost but if they want to qualify for CL they have to change their managers and many players.

For sure Owen will stay. Most probably he will stay with Newcastle at least for 2 3 seasons more. BY doing that, his position in England squad would be more secure rather than he goes to big clubs like Real Madrid etc.

Defenitely, he will stay at Newcastle. Newcastle also need him. He was a a warrior for the fans. It is nothing if he doesnt score like he was young. The fan hope, Owen will be not injured for this season so he can prove that he was still able in league.
