"Jose Mourinho is the reason I came to Chelsea and if I knew Avram Grant was going to be the coach then I would have signed for another club," Ben Haim told The Sun.
"It was Jose who brought me here and no one except he and I know the conversation we had when he tried to sign me the first time a year ago last January.
"The fact is while Jose was the coach I played most of the games and people who know me know that I would not have come here to be a reserve.
"I knew that nothing good would come with Grant as Chelsea coach." |

2nd in the Prem only 5 pts behind Man Utd and they still have to play each other at Stamford Bridge...

The Israel international accused compatriot Grant of not being up to the job of managing the Blues, going further by suggesting he wouldn't have moved to Stamford Bridge had he known Grant would replace then-boss José Mourinho.
But amid claims from Ben Haim that Mourinho had promised him regular starts - something he never gets under Grant - the current boss reacted angrily, in any case questionning the veracity of the defender's comments.
"I don’t think José promised Ben Haim he will play before John Terry, Carvalho and Alex," scoffed Grant at the player's statement. "It is internal business but, in my opinion, if a player was wrong we need to deal with it - in our way, my way," said Grant yesterday.
That way appears to be via an £80,000 fine - the maximum two weeks' wages allowed under league rules - while the defender, tipped for a summer exit, may find he's already placed his last game for the club.
Chelsea travel to Everton this evening in a franctic bid to keep their faint title hopes alive.

He deserves it. Grant is the manager and if he's not getting picked, he needs to look at himself. | |
