Hi Guys

I purchased Sergio Aguero for my Arsenal team in the January transfer window. I have now completed the season and am in the summer transfer window again.

However, since I have purchased Aguero, he has had ‘WP’ beside his name and I cannot play him. Considering I played 37 million for him, I am pretty cheesed off!

How do I get his work permit to enable him to play?

You need a feeder club in a place like Belgium... And i ont want to be the one to tell you this since your already cheesed off... But you need to send him on loan there for... erm... 3 years ... So youve wasted your money basically... And since youve signed him you will already have a feeder club that is for work permits... So, sell him or send him on loan for 3 years...

3 years? LOL, it looks like i'll be selling him then.

I thought maybe I could loan him out to Osasuna but I had no idea it would take 3 years!

Are you sure?
That HAS to be a glitch, Aguero is well known enough to get a WP.
Liverpool signed him in the first season on my game with no WP issues.

That's what I thought cos when I completed the deal, it didn't mention anything about his work permit.

I thought surely the deal would be delayed if there was a problem with the permit???

If you have an EU feeder club then the transfer will be allowed to go through.

You will need to send him on loan to the feeder club until he becomes eligible for a work permit.

Got to be a glitch, when i was at Man Utd i got Rafael Forster and Sidnei and their work permits went through, they are less known than Aguero no?

Aguero would normally be eligble to play in England and be eligble for a work permit if he was playing enough internationals. I guess as he plays for Argentina he has alot of competition and wasnt making the team.
Im not sure whether he has to play in more than 50% of internationals in the last 3 years. This is probably why his work permit was denied.
As mentioned before, due to this he will need to go to a feeder club in say Belgium or Poland to aquire dual nationiality.
It would be quicker if he was playing more international (maybe add another manager as Argentina boss and keep on playing him!!)

I've brought a couple of players and sent them on loan to my european feeder club but how do you then know when they are eligible for a work permit???
