Basically, me and a mate both have this game. Thing is, I'll eitehr go up his or he'll come down ours and we'll play our save game we have on one of our 360s. The thing thats bothering me is that I have a 512MB memory unit. Obviously I can out my save file on it and whatnot, but because we both have live, it's my gamertag I'm worried about.

The save file is associated to my gamertag, as it shows in the information shown when you choose it in the memory section of the 360. If I want to go up his with my save game that was on my Hard Drive and is to be transferred on the MU, would I need to transfer my gamertag? If so, would this affect my gamertag on my hard drive?

I ask because if I choose recover my gamertag, it takes nearly 2 hours to recieve it through the 360's system which is ridicuolous. I just want to be able to play my save file on my mates 360 or my own on the Memeory Unit with no trouble. Sorry if it seems complicated, I'm useless at explaining these things.

To be honest, I don't have a clue...

BUT, It definatly shouldnt take you 3 HOURS to recover your gamertag... My Gamertag is 5MB and it takes me about 5 mins...

You can add your gamertag to your memory unit without risk and then transfer it to your friend's xbox.

I have done this several times myself, especially when I bought an Elite console and had to move everything across.
