Default Maintaining Stats

Wassup everyone?

I just got a little question about player's stats. You guys know how a player's stats always improve right? But some of the time, it just drops for no reason. Whenever I ask my friends this question, the norm ans will be that I need to play them regularly. But even if I play them regularly, their stats will still drop. Any other ways to keep the stats up ?

Players attributes will move around a bit during a season, this reflects how they might vary during a season - no player stays the same all the time and some may be young and continually improving, others might be in their twilight years and struggling to keep at the top of their game.

This is normally most visible when a player is injured (and/or coming back from injury) or towards the end of a season for players who have had a gruelling season and might be struggling to cope with it.

(you might also see similar drops if a young player is over-played and can't cope at the level of football he's playing at ... repeatedly blooding someone above the level they can cope with can destroy a players confidence if you're not careful, this can affect him very badly if he's a fragile soul)
