Wahey, Ian comes to Stoke.

As for the sponsors... the stadium (large) and kit deal are long term deals with Britannia Building Society, so given the season you are in, those will be realistic. Whilst I obviously don't know the figures, I do know Britannia paid a lot of money to have stadium name rights on a long term deal.
The smaller stadium and general sponsorship deals I don't know... maybe they were created as completely new deals in game, because I can't think of what the real life equivalent can be.

Looked like it was on the cards anyway. You merely confirmed the process.

Season 2012/2013

Pffft...piece o' pysh, straight back up :o

We finished 2nd in League 1, to Swansea...who also gubbed us in the Johnson's suck @ss, the FA Cup and the League Cup, but promotion's promotion.

I signed 5 players from Afan Lido, as well as the two coaches, as well as a winger from Podsbezkidzie, and that was it.

I've signed a SC for free this season, as well as buying a player for £1.3M from The Toon, an AMRLC/FC, so he'll can fill a few places during the season.

In keeping with my belief that British Clubs should stick to as many British players as possible I sold and freed 7 foreigners.

We're left with two Polish guys (reasonable considering the current political climate), a Slovenian, an Italian and a Turkish/English bloke.

5 (well 4.5) foreigners is a good number for an English Club I believe.

UK players, we have 2 Welsh, 3 Northern Irish and 7 Scots.

Season 2013/2014 - Minor update

Villa just offered me a two year contract, asking that they should challenge for the EPL within 2 seasons...for £2000 a week less than I'm getting just now.

Wouldn't even negotiate it up.

I'm still at Stoke.

Season 2013/2014

We finished 3rd in The Championship, behind Leeds and Newcastle...in a Playoff place.

Semi-final saw us up against Ipswich, who we'd beaten twice in the regular season, and we saw them off 4-2 at Portman Road and 2-0 at the Britannia Stadium.

Final was against Leicester, an altogether different prospect having won once and lost once in the regular season to them.

The game finished 1-1 AET and we won 5-4 on penalties to gain promotion to the EPL...the first time for 30 years Stoke had reached the ethereal heights.

League Cup, we reached the 2nd round (much to the board's displeasure) where Pompey beat us 6-4 AET.

FA Cup, we reached the semi final where our chances were shot down by Liverpool.

Last season's £1.3m man played 19 games, 4 as substitute, so he was really worth the money.

I offloaded two more foreigners, the Turk and the Italian, so now we have two Poles, a Slovenian and a Hangarian in the squad. I gave the Hungarian a 1 year deal, he's 34 but did okay last season.

TG! KUTGW, well my guess is relegation but that doesn't matter at the moment.
