Wortley is infamous around these parts
Default A bunch of Chav(dar)s...

OK, so my first update in 4 years... go easy on me if I'm not up to speed on the latest trends!

FM08 - 8.0.2 - Medium Database
Leagues - Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece. (i.e. A-G)

Season 07-08 Chavdar (Byala Slatina) - Bulgaria Western "B" Group
Expectation : Fight bravely against relegation
Transfer Budget : 0
Wage Budget : Not Enough!
Players In : 5 (5K total)
Players Out : 8 (22K total)
Season Summary
League : 14th (Relegated) P26 W2 D8 L16 F35 A69 GD -34 Pts 14
Cup : 1st Round
High Point : Winning 2 (Count 'em matches. (3-2 and 1-0)
Low Point : Realising that was it. Finishing Bottom.
Season in One Word : Pathetic

Sacked

Season 08-09 BFC Turkiyemispor - German Regional Division North
Expectation : Fight bravely against relegation
Transfer Budget : 0
Wage Budget : Approx 4.5K
Players In : 2 (0K)
Players Out : 2 (1K)
Season Summary
League : 13th (Survival) P34 W9 D9 L16 F54 A60 GD -6 Pts 36
Cup : No Cups!
High Point : Finishing the first half of the season in 9th place.
Low Point : The one cash signing I make breaking his leg within a week of signing and being out for the rest of the season.
Season in One Word : Anti-Climactic

Season 09-10 BFC Turkiyemispor - German Regional Division North
Transfer Budget : 0
Wage Budget : 3.1K (They cut the budget, despite being delighted with me, and despite giving me a new 2 year contract )
Players In : 2 (0K) + 1 Loan
Players Out : 13 (0K)
Season Summary
League : 13th (Survival) P34 W9 D8 L17 F42 A65 GD -23 Pts 35
Cup : No Cups!
High Point : Finding a youth player who might actually make it in the first team. Slashing the wage bill mercilessly.
Low Point : Having to release so many players in order to balance the books
Season in One Word : Progressless

So on to season 4 - still at Turkiyemispor, not really feeling it, but hopeful that I might have a bit of progress - maybe even finish 8th.

Also, the board just announced a link with FC Metz in France. I feel this is fairly believable, but is it legal? I've already cancelled the link with Hertha Berlin - since German-German arrangements are illegal, but is Non-German - German OK??

It's good to be back!

German teams may be parents to foreign clubs, but not feeders.

Season 10-11 BFC Turkiyemispor - German Regional Division North
Expectation : Stay Clear of Relegation
Transfer Budget : 0
Wage Budget : 3.8K (I wanted some extra, so said I would "avoid relegation")
Players In : 6 (0K) + 1 Loan
Players Out : 3 (1K)
Season Summary
League : 15th (Relegated) P34 W7 D9 L18 F62 A72 GD -10 Pts 30
Cup : No Cups!
High Point : Loan SC (a Martinique international) scoring 4 goals in a 5-0 rout of the 3rd place team
Low Point : Relegation. It was a poor season to begin with, and had few moments of enjoyment until the last 6 games when I went on a bit of a streak that wasn't enough to claw myself to safety.
Season in One Word : Frustrating

Sacked

To the job-centre I go!

Good work, Wortley. Too bad about the relegation.

Its at times like that you wish your team didn't just score 5 goals in 1 game, they won't score for the next 4 games now

Especially after the first season when the German leagues realign. ONE promotion spot and FOUR relegation spots in the Regionalliga. :thdn:

I was refraining until now - but I figured I should join the band wagon... Nobby, how is Mexico doing? Have you seen outstanding players out there? Tila Tequila is an amazing striker, and the two-legged taco is second to none when it comes to goalkeeping, he just wraps around the ball...
