I wouldn't reccomend buying him tbh, due to his age and the fact that his stats aren't particularly impressive, but Luis Garcia does a terrific job for me at Atletico. I usually bring him on as a forward or left winger and he makes a huge impact. My favourite was when he came on and scored a 30 yarder away to Real Madrid to win the game.

Theo Walcott of the bench.
I second this. Bring Theo on after about 60 or 70 mins and put him either on the right wing or upfront and he'll usually create a couple of chances for you. Its hard for defenders to match his pace especially when they tire a little.

Otherwise, if you want a player that can change a game from the start, get Sergio Aguero or Emmanuel Adebayor. If you have the both of them and play them in the same team, you're pretty much guaranteed to score tbh.

I'm 6 seasons in with ManUtd and the follow players have completely turned around games:

Guiseppe Rossi
Carlos Tevez
Anderson
Silva
Pirlo
Ronaldo (when played as a very very attacking winger)
Hugo Lloris (Charges down perfectly, poor Drogba)

Otherwise one my other games these players always change games for me.

Van der Vaart
Diego
Jimenez
Guilherme
Owen
Joe Cole
Lulinha
Samba (Blackburn defender)

Any of those will really change your game completely. Personally I favor Van der Vaart and Pirlo. Pirlo is getting 20+ assists a season and he's 39
