I have a track record for thinking games have bugs when it's just me being a blithering idiot, but I've found something that's a bit odd and which is hampering my game somewhat. I'm playing as Celtic, and whenever I try to start a league match with seven substitutes, a message pops up saying something like "You must have at least 3 outfield players under 21". Never mind the fact that I don't even have 3 outfield players under 21 in my squad- the game will only let me start if I leave someone out and start the game with only six substitues instead of the allowed seven. What's that all about?

In scotland there must be 3 U21 players in the match day squad, if you can't fulfil it you forfeit a sub for every u21 you can't name

Wow, so next year when my two 21 year olds turn 22 I'll only be allowed to start with four substitutes? I'd better start signing some youngsters!
