It's not necessarily a scam, they're just selling off other people's hard work. They will just mail you the exact same changes.txt that Mightyowl has spent so long making and the Preference file from FMH Info that myself and jamesWHUFC.

try contacting ebay and let them know that they are selling things that are available for free here

It doesn't affect ebay though as they get a percentage of the sale. A big nasty letter from SI should be enough to make them run home with their tail between their legs.

UPDATE:

so anyway, I bought the 'update' of the abay seller, I made him a 'best offer' of 49p and he accepted.

I just received it via email and it is most deifintly part my work. Who else would know to change the name of the Malta manager (im 1/4 maltese)!

Not sure what to do, If I leave neg feedback, he'll just give me the same back! think I'll send him a polite notice...
