Hi

I am with Newcastle and in the Champions League , also have won the Premiership 6 years in a row .

How big are your guys squads , mine is 24 players

How many Backup CM would you have ?

25, but 24 in windowed mode, because i hate scrolling down my squadlist.

i have 2/3 players in each position for backup purposes, 6 CMs (2 DMs, 2 CMs, 2 AMCs).

I have 18 first teamers then use my reserve squad as an under 23 team for my backup players.

If a first teamer get injured he gets moved to the reserves until fit and the appropriate player promoted.

Once a player reaches 24 if he is not in first team he goes on the transfer list.

What do you do with players who , are backup players , but when you want to play them , they are severley lacking match fitness ?

I play them and then sub them when their condition gets too low. It may say lacking match fitness, but if their condition is over 90%, i'm always happy enough to let them start.

I always make sure that the reserve squad always has plenty of fixtures so arrange friendlies agains minor sides so that the gap between reserve league fixtures is not too long. I find that this helps with player fitness.

Do not get fooled into having dtoo many strikers it is the worst thing possible they are all annoyed about having too much competitionand are crap
