Default Young players learning from older players

I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of where I might find some help with giving players role models.

Its not a feature I have been using until I stated down the 'buy nothing but English player' road. I have done a few seaches but couldn't come up with anything.

Very difficult to get it to work right. I've had more failures than successes. But here are my tips.

Treat the 3 options as such :-
The top option is harder to achieve, but very rewarding if it works.
The bottom option is easier to achieve, but not as effective.
The middle option averages out.

Try to match up your youngster with an elder player of the same personality.
ie. "balanced" with "balanced"

Look for coach suggestions - this will crop up occasionally, suggesting such a player can learn from such a player.

Don't tutor a youngster who is already quite established in your team. Might upset him. As a rule, I will not tutor any first-teamers.

Thats about it from me. Byeeeeeeeee x

oh that may explain it, when I have been using it in the past I found that it only went well if I used the bottom option. So I should get better results using the top option but risk upsetting the players if it doesn't work out ?

It was my assman that got me using the feature again as he said player x would benefit by learning from player y.

Thanks for the advice
