1-Does consistency raise by any chance? (age/experience factor maybe?)

2-What defines an important match? Say it is the last week of the league my team has 30 points, and i have to win to avoid relegation, will it be an important match according to game's logic? Or only cup finals/rivalries are important games?

Also a bonus question, anyone knows a program (for FM 2008) where i can search players with consistency, i prefer players with 15+ consistency always, but they are rare to find.
