Default Van Nistelrooy quits

Yes he quits International Football to concentrate on playing for Real Madrid.

Do you think that it is a good decision as he is 32 yrs and still have plenty of stamina to play for both????

I can see at 32 him wanting to quit. That and he tends to have problems with the Dutch Coaches and now that Van Basten is gone he probably thought it best to leave with him. Too bad, that Dutch Euro 2008 team was fun to watch.

Yeah me too, at 32 years of age you can add years onto your career if you quit international football early. Look at Paul Scholes for a good example.

RVN is the most valuable player. If he quit from the international dutch team, he can give a path to other younger talent to have an experience.

That's very true! It's ideal for a player to get established after a tournament finishes, so they have a decent run in the side. Even if they lose a few games, though walkover games are a good way to spot new talent.

So, i want u to look at the bad team examples like France, they use their old player. So they can not go far in EURO 2008. The team must stabilising the young and the experience one. So the team can g o to the top. For example, Spain. Younger: TORRES,SILVA, CASILAS Experience: SENNA,Puyol,Xavi, Iniesta

It is easier to play good football if your concentration is on just one thing. He can now concentrate only on the la liga and play well there. It is a good decision and a brave one too.
